About the Event

Join author, teacher, & landscape architect Nate Miller on a Nature walk along Waynesboro's Greenway as he identifies & provides details on the flora, fauna & wildlife we encounter. 4-6 PM.

Over the past 15 years, Nate Miller has lectured on various topics including: history of landscape architecture in the United States from the Precolonial era-Victorian age, Edible Landscaping, Heirloom Roses, Native Fruit Shrubs and Trees, Butterfly Gardening, Attracting Pollinators, Backyard Insects, Urban Trees, Native Plants for the Western Piedmont, Landscaping for Wildlife, Heirloom Vegetables and Landscaping for Birds. Nate Miller specializes in creating landscapes that are edible, native and historical. He has also co-authored a book called Simply Sustainable Landscapes: Designing with Edible and Native Plants for the Southeast
