Stone Soup & Shenandoah Valley Animal Service Center have teamed up to share their love of dogs and dogs who need a little love for a Think Paw-sitive Day, an event that will surely get your tail waggin’!! We will have vendors, storytime, a raffle, author chat with Cara Achterberg, author of “One Hundred Dogs and Counting”, activities & outdoor games for all ages, and adoptable animals looking for their perfect match! Come join us at Stone Soup Books in Waynesboro on September 30th from 10am-3pm

• DOG Storytime for kids @ 10AM & 1PM
• Author Chat & book signing with Cara Achterberg @ 2PM
  • Cara Achterberg is the author of seven books and will be chatting about her most recent dog books, “One Hundred Dogs and Counting; One Woman, Ten Thousand Miles and a Journey into the Heart of Shelters and Rescues”  & “Another Good Dog; One Family and Fifty Foster Dogs”. Cara is also the cofounder of Who Will Let the Dogs Out, a national nonprofit that raises awareness and resources for shelter dogs and the people who fight for them.
