The Writer's Well Creative Writing School

A new writing school for adults is launching summer and fall sessions in poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction.  Aspiring authors and novice writers in the Shenandoah Valley now have access to ongoing professional-level writing workshops in a relaxed, salon-style setting.  

Classes take place at Stone Soup Books and range in length from single afternoon workshops to 8 week series.  Some titles include:

• "When is a Poem Done?"  with Poet J.Scott Price

• "Playing with Perception to Improve your Writing" with Professor Ady Dewey

• "Writing about Spirituality and Religion" with Harrisonburg Daily Columnist Luanne Austin 

• "Read like a Writer" with JMU Instructor Samar Fitzgerald.
