Long before Jan Smith ever fronted a band, she was a songwriter performing original roots music around the United States and beyond. Since her son was born in March 2008, Jan has chosen to stay close to home in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Her music career now combines Honeybirds dates with intimate concerts of her own work.
