Stone Soup Books is a Bookstore and Café with Gardens. We are located in an 115 year old Farmhouse at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains in theShenandoah Valley, in downtown Waynesboro Virginia. From the moment you step out of your car, the beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains offer you a tranquil moment or two.
Stone Soup Book offerings include general selections from every category/genre. We have hardback and paperback in fiction & non-fiction - new and used. AND, we specialize in finding and ordering the particular book YOU want!
Our book specialties include the following: vintage gardening & landscaping, Blue Ridge regional & local interest, Civil War History, cultural studies, poetry, spirituality, modern 1st editions, & illustrated children’s. Handmade cards, journals and other local artisan items are sold as well.
Our Café serves seasonal soups, salads, breads, pastries & sweets, and assorted beverages. Visitors to Stone Soup Books can enjoy their food while strolling through our gardens or sitting in our garden patio. Our perennial and edible Gardens offer beautiful scent and color while visiting.
